Join us for an event that fuses Mayan heart medicine of cacao with Indian Kirtan, the music of yoga.
In simple terms a mantra is a word or phrase that is repeated out loud or internally for the purpose of meditation. Mixed with cacao, Kirtan is a joyful practice of connecting with the smiling depths of the heart.
The indigenous people of the Central and South Americas regarded cacao as the drink of love. The Mayans called it “heart medicine.” Theobroma Cacao literally means Cacao – Food of the Gods. The Aztecs called it Heart Blood.
Pure Cacao is a Superfood that has numerous health benefits for the mind, body, and spirit. It is a natural antidepressant and MAO inhibitor, meaning that it releases endorphins and other feel good chemicals, and keeps them in our brain for longer.
